selamat sejartera!(good day) Yesterday was conversational malay class and WE learned a whole big chunk of malay words for GREETINGS and MENGENALKAN (introduction). It was quite fun and we were having lessons with cikgu Siti (that's what we're supposed to call her). Here's some of the stuff that we learned...Selamat berkenalan. Nama saya Bandeau. Nama awak siapa?(it'is nice knowing you. my name is Bandeau.what is your name?)Nama saya Siti. Ini kawan saya, Jessica.(my name is siti. this is my friend, Jessica) Selamat jalan(Bye)Jumpa lagi(see you)I was quite surprised because Jessica was in the same class as me ( even though we were the only people from BANDeau... most of them were in the other class). Which reminds me that My counterpart had to do solo on a Malay song because she was giggling away in class. It was weird because we had to keep singing terima kasih and all the selamats...
