I GOT RHYTHM

Bonjour! Hallo!

We had cca examination for band today. The teachers wanted to make sure that we were up to standard for Arts Festival. There were other performing arts:

1.) Choir
2.) Band
3.) Chinese Orchestra (chinese flutes)
4.) Strings ensemble and Dance International
5.) Handbells and Guitar
6.) Angklung, Indian Orchestra, Malay dance and Indian Dance

There will be a musical after us and we're called the Rhapsodies. I thought that band shook the whole of KS Chee Theatre today!! Though we were one of the better ones, I thought that we still had a thousand and one things to improve on. Mr Oura has been a really cool, understanding , patient and funny conductor. I can't live without him teaching us! I really felt like I was in the music "I Got Rhythm" and enjoyed it. It's been a long time since I've had this feeling. I LOVE IT. Band rocks. I just realised that Jamie and I are one of the closest SBMs. Hurray for us. There's this problem of commitment happening and many people are starting to loose their commitment due to "lame" reasons. I talked to a sec 1 today about how seniors used to be cold towards juniors and she was shocked. I hope she isn't too bothered by it :D She is still a little scared if playing...she'll get used to it:D
