METHINKS THE LADY DOTH SEEM VERY SMART!
That's exactly what's written on my profile if you ever even looked at it. I've come to realise that my capabilities are far better than those around me :D Yesterday, I took the initiative to cook dinner, so I dug up three eggs, diced a carrot and found some leftover rice in the refridgerator. After messing around at the stove, I managed to come up with some mouth-watering fried rice for my family! My mum was rather impressed but a little too distracted about my brother's poor performance at school to praise me. I'm used to it. I've been self-praising all these years :D Today, mum called home to ask about dinner and I decided to cook lotus root soup, braised egg and fry some veggies. Dad was stunned (totally quiet because he had no chance to cook or even get tired). You know what? I'm ready to be a good wife and mother when I grow up!!! This is so assurring... I'm smart. And Capable!
Today was fairly tiring. Went to the University Cultural Centre to rehearse for Arts Festival (we spent more than half the time waiting). I had to lug My trumpet case, shoe bag and back pack around for the whole day but Jamie was there to entertain me. I'm Blessed.
I've already resumed my personal reading programme lauched by myself to improve my language. Just finished a book named " The Fold" by An Na in two days. Actually, I was supposed to borrow " A step from heaven" or something but I saw the title wrongly. It's about this young korean teenager living in the US and considering whether to opt for the double eyelid surgery her plastic surgery crazed aunt offered her.
Au Revoir!
