YES. 750!!! (that's an inside joke which I only sher with myself)
I just returned from Singapore's wonderful neighbouring country, Malaysia. We went to Kuala Lumpur and spent half the time getting lost on the highway and asking for directions. Nevertheless, we still had our share of what people always say- a whale of a time. On the first night, we had steamboat dinner with Asmah(my outstandingly special Malay cousin) and her family. Her son is nothing like me, prancing around non-stop. After that sumptuous dinner, we went back to the hotel for our much anticipated sleep!
Next morning, I woke up bright and early (I was the earliest) and discovered two sets of newspapers at our doorstep. Read it. Woke everyone up by drawing the curtains to let the glorious morning light seep in. We made our way to SUNWAY LAGOON, which was only moderately fun. The rides don't cause adrenaline rushes. However, there were two rides that caused unlimited adrenaline to rush through me- GOLDMINE and VIKING ( I was literally hanging upside down. Fun. The fun came from my worrying of whether I would fall from the seat. Frankly speaking, their safety belts etc are not very secure.
Malacca was much more interesting. We went to some Nonya restaurant and the decorations were superb (i took photos). Ate chicken rice balls(special but not very yummy), shopped a bit and went back. We also took the "Eye on Malaysia"! Fun.
The main purpose of a holiday is to allow us to escape from our responsibilities a little while (though there are still a thousand and one things that I have to be responsible of on the trip itself).
Au Revoir.
